ASW x PGW – DAY 3 WRAP-UP (Nov.3)

Arc System Works Day 3 at Paris Games Week came and went in a flash! Thank you to all who stopped by our booth and watched our livestream. In case you missed it, here’s a short recap below:

The Day kicked off with our special guest and host TPK, showcasing River City Rival Showdown and Double Dragon.

Next, we welcomed Kamone Serizawa (UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Series Director) to jump into the action with TPK in an exhibition between the two! You can find that footage here at the 1 hour 2 minute mark.


Shortly after the exhibition, TPK jumped into matches of Guilty Gear -Strive against event-goers! He even played against competitive Strive player Neos! For this footage, click here at the 2 hour 30 minute mark.


We then welcomed Kamone Serizawa back to the stage to introduce UNDERNIGHT IN-BIRTH II [Sys:Celes] and give us his retrospective on the last 10 years of Undernight. That footage can be found here at the 3 hour mark.


During this session, Kamone Serizawa went over some of the new moves that have been added to character kits within [Sys:Celes], like Hyde’s Blare Outrage, Linne’s Hiryu, Orie’s Reverie Obelisk and Seth’s Gloomy Invitation. This footage can be found here at the 4 hour mark.


We then introduced our Development Producer for Guilty Gear -Strive- Ken Miyauchi back to the stage to talk about all things GGST. He answered various questions, went through the history of Guilty Gear, discussed the different seasons of GGST and invited guests to try out GGST for the first time. This footage can be found here at the 5 hour 15 minute mark.


Towards the end of this segment of our live stream, Ken Miyauchi once again showcased the new move being added in the anticipated December update, Potemkin’s Heat Tackle. For a more details, please see the clip shown to the right of this text.


All the while, cosplayers LazyMayu (Asuka R#) and Solaire (Testament) were in and our of the ASW booth at PGW, available to take photos with event-goers!
