Arc System Works America, Inc. has revealed a new trailer and announced the store page launches for River City Saga: Journey to the West, releasing June 4, 2026 at $19.99 for Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, and Steam®. The new trailer showcases the game’s three main characters (Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing) running wild.
River City Saga: Journey to the West is based on Journey to the West, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature, following the footsteps of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. As a replayable roguelike action game where you grow stronger with each run, it is built for solo play for players to thoroughly enjoy.
