Arc System Works Brings the Fight to Sakura Con 2015
Sponsors Official Tournaments for BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- and BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend

YOKOHAMA, JAPAN (February 18, 2015) – Arc System Works, developer of world-class fighting games such as the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue series, is excited to announce officially sponsored tournaments for BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, as well as a special exhibition tournament for the unreleased BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend. The tournaments are taking place at Sakura-Con on April 3-5, 2015, in Seattle, Washington, capping off with a Grand Finals event which will be broadcast on the official Arc System Works Twitch channel soon after the competition.

Expected to participate are BlazBlue EVO 2011 Champion, Alex Chen (Spark) and Derek Bruscas (sG), the highest placing US player at EVO 2014.

 

Tournament Details:
There is no entry fee for the tournament, but participants must be attending members of Sakura-Con 2015. Sign-ups will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, starting at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 3, 2015. Sign-ups will be taken in-person only, in room 6D at the Washington State Convention Center until sixty-four entrants per tournament are filled. Entrants must be registered attendees of Sakura-Con. Tournaments will be conducted in a double elimination format.

 

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend Exhibition Tournament Details:
The BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend exhibition tournament will be an invitational tournament restricted to new characters Celica A.Mercury and Lambda-11.

 

Tournament Times: Saturday, April 4

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma – 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- – 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend – 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Grand Finals Event – 9:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Program, special guests, and live performances to be announced)
